This year marks the 21st year of Marian College, Marian Health Careers Center, and for the first time ever, the students, administrators, faculty and staff celebrated it with a fundraiser to support cancer research.
On February 11th, the Marian College community convened at the Charlie Turner’s Trail in Griffith Park for a 3-mile walk. Everyone was in high spirits enjoying the sights and the crisp February air. Participants purchased t-shirts and proceeds were donated to a local cancer foundation.
Marian College's 92nd Graduation Ceremony
Congratulations, graduates!
Marian College had its 92nd Graduation Ceremonies on February 22, 2013 at the Founders Church located at 3821 W Sixth Street, Los Angeles, CA 90020. A total of 41 students, 18 from Los Angeles Campus and 23 from Van Nuys Campus, were awarded their diplomas and nursing pins to signify their graduation from the Vocational Nursing Program.
Mr. Rizaldo Ricafort, MSW, FNIU was the guest speaker. Mr. Ricafort is the administrator of New Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. |

Marian College ranked in the top ten schools for LVN Program in California.
No. 9 – Marian College
Among the smallest Southern California vocational nursing schools on our list, Marian College's L.A. campus is well regarded in the regional nursing community. The smaller class sizes obviously produce better results for students, as 89% of Marian graduates passed the exam to become LVNs last year - a marked improvement from the 80% average posted by its previous three graduating classes.

20 Years
Marian College propelled by its professional motto of Exellence, Commitment, and Service is 20 years old! As we recall our humble beginnings, the nursing institution likes to think that its future lies in its glorious past and dynamic present!
As Marian College celebrates two decades of producing healthcare professionals who are competently trained and excellently equipped with nursing skills, the institution aspires to be able to grant degrees, starting off by offering an Associate Degree in Nursing.
